Cloth diaper

  Cloth Diapers

Hi, I am a mom of 2 years old and I have been exclusively cloth diapering my baby for 21 months. I will share my experience today.

I was using homemade flats as nappies during the daytime and disposables diapers in the nighttime. During the daytime naps, the baby used to get up quickly due to the wetness of nappies. It was tiring tasks to change the nappies frequently as my baby used to pee about 10 to 12 times during the day. We cannot afford so much on diapers during the day and night. So I was searching for something reusable type diaper. I came across super bottoms Facebook ad. I researched why this diaper is priced higher than other brands of cloth diapers. The answer is they use 100% organic cotton GOTS certified inserts while other brand use microfiber or bamboo inserts which doesn't have high power absorbency and may cause rashes. They have a free trial policy for the first purchase i.e. if anyone is not satisfied with the UNO they can return even after usage. Once the product is received by super bottoms, the refund. So I ordered one free size uno as my baby was 5kg above(3 months) that time from their website and tried. It was so good. To my surprise, it lasted about 10 hours at night and 4 hours during the daytime.

Some of the features of cloth diapers are:

Reusable- It is reusable even for the next babies.

Resizable- It has 4 sizes in one diaper. Newborn Uno fits 2.5kg to 7kg or day 1 to 6 months. Freesize Uno fits 5kg to 17kg or 3 months to 3 years. Even the diaper can be extended up to 25 kg with the help of extenders.

Washable- One diaper lasts well for 300+ washes. If used in rotation it can last well.

Eco-friendly- The need of the hour is we should save our planet. It prevents no dumping of waste on the earth.

Baby-friendly- Baby has no rashes as it is made with only organic cotton, even the waterproof outer layer is made up of breathable fabric I.e. TPU fabric. No discomfort with a snug fit. A snug fit means the fit should not be loose nor too tight.

Pocket friendly- It saves lots of money on diapers. The small calculation I am giving you. I used to spend 10Rs per night on disposable diapers, which means 300rs per month. 900rs for 3 months. 3600rs for a year. But with one superbottoms costing 890 approx, I can use it for 3 years or 300+washes which means about 1 year. About 70% cheaper.

CPSIA and GOTS certified- All the products are certified, premium quality, and checked.

Lasts long- It lasts for 8 to 10 hours during night time and 3 to 4 hours during day time.
